Empty build
Before guests arrive, cameras, light and labels go up. The seating group is checked for eyelines and microphone reach.
68 square metres, four guests, 24 invited audience seats, four 4K cameras and picture direction next door. A production day costs EUR 2490 including 19% VAT.
A talk round needs more air than a two-person interview: camera paths, a shallow seating group, a strip where viewers sit without tipping into frame. The show floor on Lychener Straße is cut for that. Mira Schulz runs the switcher, Jonas Richter the Dante bus, Niklas Berger the audience row, Lena Hoffmann the clock.
There is no walk-up box office. The audience comes from the desk list. The neighbour is a residential stair in Prenzlauer Berg; applause stays measured. Cost planning sits in the talk-show budget guide.

Before guests arrive, cameras, light and labels go up. The seating group is checked for eyelines and microphone reach.
Guests enter via the lounge. Viewers are seated on 24 chairs; aisles stay clear.
Picture direction switches live between four cameras. Sound runs split per seat plus a sum. Takes follow the desk rundown.
After the last block we back up the tracks. The audience leaves by the same path as reception.
Political rounds with four voices, culture talk, science debate, internal town halls with an invited audience. Not built for an open-air feel, a catwalk or a standing party. Gründerzeit ceiling height limits truss; we work with stands and a short track.
If only two voices speak and nobody watches, the conversation room is the better booking. Remote guests sit in the isolation booths and land in the same switcher; that is then a combination with hybrid links.
Four 4K cameras: a wide, two mediums on the guests, a tight on the person speaking. Mira Schulz cuts on the word, not on music. Desk inserts can arrive as a clip folder in advance; we play them from the control room.
The audience row sits behind an imagined line. Anyone standing enters the wide. Niklas Berger therefore explains before start when to clap and when not to.
A rundown with block times, name lists for supers, consent from guests and audience, inserts without baked-in channel logos if the material will also run outside your own channel. Wardrobe: calm surfaces, no tiny logos on caps in the first row.
Guest travel: U2 Eberswalder Straße. Same stop for the audience; we do not run a shuttle. Parking on Lychener Straße is resident territory — public transport is the intended path.
On the day we keep a programme recording from the switcher plus four camera ISOs and split sound. A 24–28 minute show edit is not automatic; it sits in editing at EUR 1280 incl. VAT. Two revision rounds cover the session, not a later fine cut unless that cut is booked.
Deposit 40 percent, cancellation free 10 days out, archive 18 months, rights after payment in full. Overrunning the nine-hour day is added hourly at the hybrid or interview rate, depending on which resource is held.
Not included without a surcharge: audience stewarding (EUR 320 incl. VAT per booking), makeup, catering beyond water, the show edit, captions, collecting-society stage music, travel.
A production day of EUR 2490 incl. 19% VAT equals EUR 2092.44 net. Half day EUR 1490 incl. / EUR 1252.10 net. Audience stewarding EUR 320 incl. / EUR 268.91 net.

No. That number is the seating and fire-safety limit of the floor in this house.
Yes, in short cues. Continuous clapping carries into the stairwell; we keep it brief.
Short stand-up statements are possible if they sit in the rundown. The default round sits.
Thirty minutes before cameras, so coats and the consent list can close.
Only if the floor is free the day before; then as a half production day.
Budget: talk-show budget. Rules: terms. Booking: contact. Picture work after: editing.
Nine hours on the show floor are not an endless party. Before guests, the empty build happens: four 4K cameras, seating group, light, labels. Mira Schulz checks the switcher, Jonas Richter the track per seat, Niklas Berger the 24 chairs, Lena Hoffmann the block times. The audience comes from the desk list, not a box office. If you skip audience stewarding (EUR 320 incl. VAT / EUR 268.91 net) you still get the floor, but nobody from our crew then sits in the row, because four people are on cameras, sound, reception and the clock.
Applause stays short. The house is Gründerzeit in the Helmholtz neighbourhood; the stairwell is lived in. Continuous clapping carries. Production therefore explains before cameras when to clap. Desk inserts play from the control room if they arrive without baked-in channel logos. Remote guests sit in the isolation booths and land in the same switcher — that is a combination with hybrid links, not hidden inside the day rate of EUR 2490 incl. VAT (EUR 2092.44 net).
The day rate delivers the recording, not the 24–28 minute media-library cut. That show edit costs EUR 1280 incl. VAT (EUR 1075.63 net) and sits in editing. Captions EUR 18 incl. per film minute. Deposit 40 percent. Cancellation free 10 days out. Two revision rounds cover the session. Rights after payment in full. Travel: U2 Eberswalder Straße, trams M1, M10, 12. No shuttle, no resident-parking promise.
A five-hour half day costs EUR 1490 incl. VAT (EUR 1252.10 net) and fits rounds without an audience or with a very short invited circle. We do not take a 25th viewer; that is the seating and fire-safety limit of this floor. Open-air, standing parties and truss shows do not fit 68 square metres under Gründerzeit ceilings.
